Currently, nogago Outdoor GPS supports BlackBerry® devices with  BlackBerry® OS 4.2 upwards except OS 7. Please run the free trial first. nogago Guide works on devices with BlackBerry® OS 5.0 upwards except OS 7, on Android 2.1 upwards and on iPhone 4.

Returns Policy
Please run our trial versions before purchasing. Once you registered a key or downloaded a map you won’t get any refund from nogago. Please acknowledge our terms of service. For BlackBerry AppWorld purchases Digital River’s terms of sale are applicable. Please note that DR or RIM as well won’t refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase.

How can I bring Maps to my BlackBerry®, if I cannot mount it as drive due to company policies?
The data is stored on the SDCard in directory ‘Maps’. You can take the SDCard out of the device and mount it to your computer via adapters such as this http://www.amazon.de/Hama-CardReader-MMC-USB-Kartenleseger%C3%A4t/dp/B000ENQXMC.
In the download tool that is started when you click on ‘download’ in nogago.com, you have to choose the drive where the SDCard is mounted using the adapter. The autodiscovery should find it, since it looks for a drive with a directory called “Maps”.

The newer release on my BlackBerry® cannot read maps stored on the SDcard (and old release remains installed)?
This situation arises when one version was installed over-the-air (OTA) and the other version was installed from the computer (ALX). Please remove both copies of the software and reinstall the application (either OTA or ALX).

I get the error message “Cannot load 32-Bit SWT libraries on 64-Bit JVM” – what now?
The problem is your Java virtual machine. Your system is 64-Bit Windows, but you used a 32-Bit Browser to download the Map-Downloader. Please try it again with a 64-Bit Browser. Alternatively, you can use a 32-Bit Browser, but directly open the JNLP file instead of saving it.

My device does not receive a GPS-Signal or does not get a GPS fix.
Please ensure the GPS functionality of your device is not blocked by
your Network provider to be able to use this function in Nogago.
To verify the settings and functionality of your GPS Chip navigate on your device to following settings:
MENU -> OPTIONS -> ADVANCED OPTIONS -> LOCATION SETTINGS ->

Set these recommended settings and switches:
-> GPS Data Source: “Device GPS” – to use the internal GPS Chip of you RIM Device
-> Location Service: “Location ON” – to activate GPS Location Service Feature

Autonomous GPS and troubleshooting hints:
Make sure your GPS is on and active. Preferably outdoors get a clear view of the sky! Sometimes near a window is good enough for proper and fast GPS signal reception. With the Autonomous GPS method the first complete fix may take as long  as ten minutes. This is a normal part of the process.

With a clear view of the sky, a partial fix should be available within minutes and at least 3 satelites. A complete fix depends on the number >3 of satellites visible, and the download time of GPS satellite location information (Ephemeris).  Enabling location adiding services will decrease the ephemeris download time in a good wireless reception area. In a bad wireless radio signal area, you may want to disable location aiding.  If the ephemeris data has already been downloaded since your last reboot or major location change a complete fix should follow quickly.  None of these things are under the control of Nogagao Outdoor App, it’s just the way an Autonomous GPS works.
